Spent a lovely Christmas here! The location by the river is stunning, and the warm, cozy atmosphere made for a perfect festive getaway. The staff were super friendly and really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, especially during the holiday meals. The breakfast was a highlight - nothing beats a hearty English breakfast to start the day right!
The room we had was a bit noisy since we were near the lift, which made it hard to relax, especially in the evening. the pillows were not the comfiest, and I had a few minor issues with the bathroom fittings. Still, the overall experience was good!

we had a lovely stay at wherry, where we celebrated our wedding anniversary. upon arrival, we appreciated the early check-in and a complimentary room upgrade to a spacious suite. the view of the lock and nearby bridge added charm, though some traffic noise was present. dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was a highlight, with excellent food and attentive service, and breakfast offered a fantastic variety as well. our overall experience was good, making it an enjoyable getaway.

The noise from loud music and rowdy guests went on until after 1 AM! It was impossible to get any sleep on both nights. So frustrating!

great views and easy access to lowestoft's highlights
I had a lovely time as the staff were cute and the breakfast was really enjoyable, perfectly setting me up for my walks through the nearby fine parks like Leathes' Ham, only about 1 km away, and the fascinating sights at the East Anglia Transport Museum, just a short stroll of about 3 km from my hotel, making it so easy to explore the city.
